Gee, it has been almost three years since I made the parking light fix. At that time I posted the complete procedure. I checked the postings and that one is long gone. Any way, I unfastened the ignition switch from the frame and then took the back off of the switch. It all unscrews, but you will need a metric allen wrench set. Play with the switch and see which wires are common to the ignition off, when the switch is in park. Leave those alone, but sever the one that is unique to the park light. That one is the light on wire.
It seemed self evident to me at the time and I do not even think that I consulted the wiring diagram.
